I highly doubt someone forced her to drive her car. Also, if she is ugly, the date rape drug excuse goes out the window.

I agree with Compman up to the “if she is ugly” — had the individual been given the date rape drug, she should not have been able to get into her car and drive. And unless someone was physically attacking her, there would appear to be no reason to do so. My opinion is that this individual is just one more person who is unwilling to take responsibility for her own choices.
While I agree she should be given an award for her creativity if that’s how it shakes out, understand date rape drugs do not always “knock a person out” – at least not immediately. My neice was given one at a bar w/o her knowledge, felt very “weird” and friends took her home where she fell asleep later. Just an FYI….

GHB = half life 30-60 minutes, however its metabolites last much longer. Also, GHB uses the same enzymes as alcohol for breakdown, so any combination of the two will cause it to be present for longer periods.
Virtually any benzodiazepine will be detectable for many days as they are poorly water soluble, so your valium/xanax/etc will also be easily detectable.
The real problem this brings up though, is the possibility of this woman actually taking say xanax, and then drinking and driving. Now instead of getting the book thrown at her, she could claim she was drugged.
Rohypnol’s effects last for 8-24 hours. Most experts state that you have a 24 hour window for actionable test results.
GHB is only detectible in urine tests within 8-12 hours. It is not detectible using over-the-counter urine tests. The duration is 1-3 hours, and in high enough (or repetitive) doses can induce unconsciousness. GHB is also a naturally occurring chemical within the body which makes detecting someone being doped with GHB more difficult.
It *can* be confirmed if you test the victims hair follicles–that is, if your police dept. has that kind of resources or even inclination to test.
Sexual assault cases are some of the least crime-against-another cases brought to trial.

Thank you for the lesson on the date rape drugs. I have had no encounters with them so I that is why I said “I believe” as I was not sure.
As for my other part of the comment, I was just making a joke. You people need to lighten up a little.
