It seems wrong to get free federal money when this is still federally against the law. Colorado has significantly increased their tax revenue from this change in state law and should be able to pay for their own Stoned Driving Prevention program.

Here’s some help for the those who are tasked with looking out for stoned drivers. Look for the guy/gal who is driving 30 in a 55 MPH zone with sunglasses on.

All kidding aside, for the testing, I’m sure the ACLU or other pro-bono legal entity will enveriably challnge the levels due to the nature of THC in the blood stream from chronic users vs. one time dopers.

I also wonder if they will enforce the law like other DUI laws (bicylces, people in wheel chairs, etc).

    Colorado Police Pot Training 101:
They may be stoned if the car windows are rolled up, the smoke is thick inside and they have the wipers on trying to clear it up.
They may be stoned if you see someone driving and eating a pineapple & ham pizza sandwich.
They may be stoned if their ice cream cone has 7 scoops.
They may be stoned if they keep repeating the word “atmosphere” over and over, and then ask what a round atmo is.
They may be stoned if they ask you if “Horton Hears a Who” could actually be a story about us…..
