Wasn’t Arizona just in the papers as having the lowest per student education budget? If they cut the 2% taxes on premiums (which is about normal for the rest of the country), then where does the Arizona legislature get more funds for their operating budget?
Pro business is a GOOD thing. To generate increased taxes, you have to have this economy recover from recession. To do that, you allow tax breaks to encouraged expansion and hiring.
Arizona spending more per student has never proven to improve test scores. Teachers get raises and can NOT be fired and that never helps students.
Terminating sub-par teachers would help students more than just throwing money at the problem.
