You have hit the nail on the head. Not only do we need more people telling the story of how our industry makes a difference in everyday lives, we need people who are willing to share their experiences and teach about the things they have a great passion for. Maybe one is out there, but I think just about everyone has some sort of training need. Has any sort of database/warehouse been developed online where people can seek out persons to teach certains types of curriculum…sort of a speakers bureau only a training bureau. I think that would be a great way of getting people to have a bit of skin in the game.

Truth! Insurance should be about learning, and about passing that knowledge onto others, whether it is our staff, our clients or others. I’m passionate about insurance, learning and educating others which makes this the best “career” in the world for me!

I am a licensed agent and want to get out of sales. I seem to be teaching co-workers about lines of insurance that they do not know or are unfamiliar with. How do I go about teaching insurance?
