The problem with print is declining readership, and many print publications that are struggling to justify pricing. Buyers are saying, I am going to get it as cheaply as I can, BUT I am ALSO going to get premium placement as well. It’s not that the buyers are squeezing print pubs. They are a dying animal, and we are just getting as much from them as we can. The only people getting 100% of their news from print are the very old demographics. The technology shift from paper to tablet/online is squeezing print, not the buyers.
