I am looking for a CA workers comp market for a trucking renewal (Chartis). 2 years prior, no claims, 150k payroll. I already have the Chartis renewal and a Statefund quote, but the lowest rate is 24.5 and they paid 18.5 last year. Thank you for any help.

I would advise against any MGA (managing general agent, which insurance noodle and superior access are) that makes you pay for access to insurance markets. There are a lot of MGA's out there that will give you access to preferred personal lines, preferred commercial lines, and excess/surplus commerc...

If they have a good loss history then the preferreds are the way to go if you want a ture BOP (Travelers, CNA, Allied etc). You will still need to write the umbrella and comm auto seperate.
