I did the ARM in 2014. It was quite challenging.
I learned so much and would recommend it.
You will learn concepts you thought you would never learn about in insurance. Lots of talk on investments.
Also a lot of math.
I failed ARM 55 the first time.
Now onto the CPCU so far, CPCU is easier.

Two courses were waved in the CPCU with my ARM and AINS. AINS 21 and 23 waived a commericial course requirement, and ARM 56 risk financing waived another course. I believe the best advice is to obtain a college degree and pursue the CPCU as your concentration. I earned the BSBA from Indiana University in 2010. In 2013 and 2014 I earned the AINS and the ARM.
