Re: Encompass

Encompass disbanded its national agent group. I'm interested to see if anyone is approaching the likes of Hartford, Travelers etc w/ their Encompass books. If so, what terms are being discussed. Encompass killed themselve for writing a ton of low limit unfilter business.

CNA - restriction on BOP classes

Hi. I heard this morning that CNA closed like 100 or so BOP classes to its appointed wholesale agents. Apparently CNA was losing its shirt on these classes. Has anyone heard the same? If so do you know the classes?

Thank you for the info. It was my understanding that since I don't have a florida surplus lines license I cannot legally file the state taxes on my clients behalf. CNA - Construction (CAM)

I need opinions about CNA construction programs east of the Mississippi. Are the 9 CAM programs (ASCC, ECCP, ARTBA, MBAP, NUCA, NRCA, SMA, PLANT, LICA) still viable in the market place? My read is the programs provide great coverage but CNA's underwriting appetite is restrictive and the premium is n...
