Re: How have you Benefited from your Cluster Membership?
Would be nice to see a list of clusters/MIA's and have folks rate them. So opinionated on this topic. Surely there is a cluster that most have an overall positive experience with.

Re: Commission Splits
Thanks for the reply. I do not have any agency system as I do not currently offer p&c. I am mainly an investment & financial advisor. I do know crop insurance is a whole ballgame in itself. I plan on working more in the agriculture field as they services that I can offer.

Re: Good overview books on P&C
I appreciate these replies. I will primarily work more on a referral basis but still need a good basic knowledge. Also even though my time is limited I would like to develop a niche of clients where I would be the primary agent. I am thinking churches as I have many contacts in that field and am inv...

I have just obtained my P&C license. I own a small investment and financial planning firm. There are two agencies that want to form a working relationship for greater cross-selling. I would like to have basic knowledge of the P&C area and would like suggestions on materials/books, etc. The p...

Re: Prospective New Agent question
Yes there will be a contract written before I start. One reason the agency is interested is because they are in a small community and see an area of growth in this manner plus it will help with volume for their carries and contingencies. THey have been very honest about that. The first year will obv...
