Re: Enterprise Ins Co
If you were the retailer would it make no difference to you that a client to escape the high CA MPs for condo building purchases instead a policy from an African based insurance company which is not licensed to do business in the US? Try a $50K MP vs $3500 from the African company. It provides a cer...

Enterprise Ins Co
I'm a wholesaler with 45 years in this business and I thought that I had seen most weird stuff but now......again.....the Enterprise Ins Co [located in Ghana] is popping up again in California writing contractors. Now we know that many GC's and subs buy insurance only so that they can have Certs of ...

Re: LIG apt policy
Strength: Very low pricing - they're still in the buying business stage Weakness: Claims handling - you will have to call & call to get a claim noticed Curiously enough their underwriting is pretty tight and in time their pricing will increase BUT their claims reponse time will have to improve f...

Just how lethal is this product? Can you provide the material data safety sheets? I have a market if this can be proven safe to humans.

Re: Premium Financing - Best Value?
For flexibility & value I've found that IPFS is the best. Caveat is that instead of just working their online site you should call them and discuss the situation to see how much they can deviate from their norms. Website is at http://www.ipfs.com . I'm a wholesaler so I've had to deal with most ...

Re: Anyone worked with Consolidated Agency Partners?
Never depend on a cluster for wholesaling. We're a CA based wholesale aggregator that can access literally every meaningful surplus lines market and tons of MGA's. You don't have to pay anything per month. You don't have volume requirements. You get 10% commission min unless the gross to us is 10% i...

Re: Agent no legal duty to inform on cancellations?
If you issue a Certificate of Insurance it is no more than information that insurance is in effect as shown on the Cert and for the time shown. Most insurers these days do not require that you send them copies of those Certs. That increases your obligation, legally or not. Concurrently, because you ...

Re: Fees on Admitted Market
First, are you a retailer or wholesaler? The fee regulations are pretty standard. Second, usually -- and this is usually -- a retailer can add a fee to an admitted quote if he discloses it to his insured prior to binding. This is whether he does or does not receive commission and whether or not the ...

Am curious. Just what are the Non-Critical parts? Perhaps there is a chance to cover them outside the aviation markets.

"Competing" with Farmers is usually like waiting for Godot. You'll get your best coverage with them but if you want to move for money, then you accept the possible consequences. I suggest that you get your client to sign off that he wants to buy price rather than coverage. If he's not will...

Re: Personal Quake Insurance - CA
The home on which I am arranging Quake insurance is value at $8,000,000.
I'm told that the incumbent insurer is the Firemans Fund at a 22 cent rate.
That sounds fishy......not only the rate but the fact that the FFund writes a quake policy on an $8MM home.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
Thanks.

If I'm traveling and will be driving quite a bit in an urban area with which I am not familiar and the weather is or is projected to be wet/icy, you better believe that I will buy the CDW.
