Re: How to divide work to customer service reps

Re: Agency Management System

You sound like an employee of a company that sells a management system. The problem is that most small agencies like us DO NIOT need the bells and whistles. We need basics. Free Acords are available as are the programs necesssary to turn them into accurate autofill. Cash management / tracking is als...

Re: Agency Management System

If you bave a small agency and any brains you can set up your own agency management system by taking courses to learn Microsoft Access and Excel......and save a ton of money by doing so. If you do that and use Office online you don't even have the software resident on your computers. Its automatical...

Re: CA Insurance Agent E&O

Terminology is key. Risk Purchasing Groups often have a "bag" of limits where you better file your claims early because when the "bag" of limits runs out there are no more funds to play claims. Bite the bullet and pay the fee. That's one helluva E&O premium for what you have. Everything goes up in time and you can yell all you want about "principle" but that won't solve anything.

I've been in this business for 46 years and over time this is how its shaken out: CPCU: for underwriters CIC + sundry others: for brokers MBA: for everyone Find a reputable online MBA program [e.g. Pepperdine] and go for it. U of Phoenix and others of the for profit online degree ilk won't cut it. Y...
