Re: Newbie, Should I Start a Farmers or Independent ?

Any prospective insurance agent should ask just one question BEFORE he produces any business despite how minimal - if I work for a direct writer, who owns my business if I leave or am terminated?? The answer should be YOU. With direct writers the answer is always THEM. If that answer is OK with you ...

Re: Aggregators

If they are like other aggregators who charge your for their services or to be a member, they are a rip off. We work with a couple of small wholesale shops that are highly efficient where the principals have strong long time relationships with some of the large wholesalers. We send our submissions t...

Re: How to divide work to customer service reps

This shouldn't be rocket science. For work, just put it into a pile and divide it by the number of CSRs. For duties, draw straws. Re: Agency Management System

You sound like an employee of a company that sells a management system. The problem is that most small agencies like us DO NIOT need the bells and whistles. We need basics. Free Acords are available as are the programs necesssary to turn them into accurate autofill. Cash management / tracking is als...

Re: Agency Management System

If you do that and use Office online you don't even have the software resident on your computers. Its automatical...

What is the acquisition?
What is the "risk" for which he requires coverage?
What tyoe of coverage?
You're an insurance broker so certainly you know more than you relate about this situation.
