Re: Agency Management System
Anyone notice the Nexsure buzz is all by people with 1 post ??? Hmm ...very interesting. You're right. What's also very interesting is that in the last 2 days I've had conversations with 2 different people about how I like Nexsure. Not sure if it's Nexsure fishing around or if people actually inter...

Re: Agency Management System
I am considering Hawksoft, Nexsure and QQSolutions for my small agency. They seem to be the ones that offer the functionality I need at reasonable costs. Anyone have any significant issues or negative experience with any of these that I should be aware? As an end user, I've not been happy with Nexs...

Re: PA Dog Liability to meet State Requirements
Let me guess ...they're with American Modern or Foremost. Both carriers have the Animal Exclusion built in to their "Specialty" Homeowner's products. Have you tried speaking to a standard carrier such as Travelers? Perhaps with other lines of business included the carrier would be willing ...

Re: Encompass VS. Kemper
We are looking to add another carrier next month. We are in Southern California. I was thinking either Kemper or Encompass. Who has the better rate and product in our area? I'm in Pennsylvania so can only speak for my state, we're banging away with Allied. We're actively moving our Encompass book t...

Someone break it down for me. Positives, negatives?? Currently a Sagitta user looking for something bigger and better. Not happy with Nexsure as an end user. let's leave it at that. Re: "RD" Renewal disfucuntion
Travelers (and several other carriers including Chubb) pay commission as the insured pays them. If the insured pays in full, then this is how we're paid. If the insured opts to pay in installments, that's how we receive commission. Many carriers do this and while it's tough to get used to at first, ...

Re: Personal Auto Policy - Teen Driver and Title Issues
Here in PA, even if Poppa's name isn't on the title, if Junior is a resident relative, Poppa's on the hook for it. (Heck, even if the kid ISN"T a resident relative, if it can be proven that Junior is financially dependent on Poppa, which I'm sure he is, Poppa's still in the hot seat). Exclusion...

Re: Child Away at College with Car
Dear Friends, I have a child away at college (different state) with his car. For tuition purposes, the car was registered in the state where he's going to school. We are currently with a large, well-known company (rhymes with farmer) and he's on our PAP. My instinct and training tell me that we sho...

Re: Insurance Newsletter
From a client's POV, I would agree with not using canned newsletters - they're so bland & generic that I don't read them. We get newsletters all the time from carriers and you know that, for the most part, those are just filler with a few carrier specific things tossed in. I barely glance at the...

Anyone have experience with them on the Personal Lines side of things? They're relatively new to Pennsylvania - we're seeing good pricing from them so far but being new to the state, that may change next year. I've heard good things about them from agents in other states but wondering if anyone in P...

Estate Owned Vehicle - No Driver
I'm looking for a carrier who will write an auto policy in the name of an estate; there are no drivers. All my non standard carriers (Progressive, Infinity, Bristol West, AIG, GMAC) have shot me down. Any suggestions would be most apreciated.
