Just wrote one through Chubb. Primarily due to the insured's Personal Lines was with Chubb as well. We had another option through Travelers.

There are conversations constantly going on about the difference between an Employee and an Independent Contractor. If you looked at two different companies and the only difference is how the worker gets paid, would the workers be considered employees? this is the big debate. Look on the IRS website...

Liberty recently sold the renewal rights of its' Middle market book to 3 Independent retail brokers. The direct sales force was either let go or went to the new place. You should check into how this impacts you in your area before you make any changes.

Mightyjoe, my agency is in NY. The insured is in Florida. The new law is a Florida State requirement.

Big Dog hit the markets. Add Seneca as well. These markets will provide Package policies including E&O. You can also try a wholesaler for a stand alone E&O policy.
