Has anyone had experience using one of the online aggregators like Agent Secure, Superior Access or Insurance Noodle? It is my understanding you cant bind the business yourself and it can take up to 24 hours for them to bind ( they say it is usually within minutes). Do they allow you to bind quickly...

Only problem with Smart Choice is the exit provisions in section 8 if you leave or if they leave you. You cannot directly or indirectly sell through any company you used them for 2 years afterwards.

I looked into it and decided to go another route. They tell you that they take care of all the servicing and take 45% of your gross. However, you still have to pay for rent, utilities, insurance, etc. I think you are better off with alternative avenues. Having someone seveice for you is a potential ...

I am an Agent in Tampa Bay area of Florida. Does anyone have experieince with Mercury in Florida and what other companies are generally the most competitive on auto? Also what is the base commission Mercury pays and what on average is the total commission they pay with volume and contingency payments?

I am also in your same situation. I have been a captive agent for 20 years and have over 7000 PIF and am now losing all my Fire book of business due to company pullout.
