Halpert, Chartis Insurance Group (formerly AIG Domestic P&C) offers a product called System Peformance Insurance. You did not mention a particular State so the Northeast contact is Allen Zdroik, (212) 458-8261. Details of the product as well as a brochure of the coverage is available online. Goo...

Re: High Experience Mods

ACE writes high mod accounts - in California they use Pacific paper. Granite States does as well. I use Maxim Insurance Group to access these carriers in California. The highest mod I've placed is 2.00 but that was not in California.

Good luck to you.

Re: Certificate of Insurance Tracking - Access or Excel Data

Big Dog, For all the insight you have provided on this board, I'll be happy to "throw you a bone" so to speak. Microsoft offers an Access template called "Project Management Database" that should be sufficiently robust to fit your needs. Simply go the Microsoft home page and sear...

JT, Most lines of insurance are regulated at the State level. Each State has their own set of insurance regulations (Insurance Code). These "codes" are accessible as individual volumes as well as contained within the State's Stautes. Example, the State of Florida's insurance codes can be f...

Re: Workers Comp Deposit

Please clarify; are you looking to finance a "deposit" as opposed to the down payment? Deposit = money held in addition to the estimated annual premium. Down Payment = percentage of the estimated premium paid up front with the balalnce paid over installments. Try Standard Funding with resp...

Re: Electrical Contractor

Maverick Insurance has plenty of workers' compensation markets to write Electrical Contractors in California (818) 223-0011. You can also contact Maxim Insurance, they have placed some California business for me in the past (813) 689-5105).

Give Maxim Insurance Group or Appalchian Underwriters. Both of these companies write short haul and log haul trucking risks nationwide.

Antagent, Don't spend too much time on the NCCI website as California has their own classification manual. Based on the classifications you have provided (5951 and 4512), the risk's operations would be similar to an anti-venom facility or a anti-virus manufacturuer. The codes you have provided are v...

The class is 8017 which several markets write in California. Not only Chartis (AIG) but ACE and AmTrust write the exposure as well. Try Maverick, Appalachain or Maxim Insurance. They all have access to these markets in California.

Re: Guaranteed cost program versus self-insured group

First, my apologies as I was not specifically singling out Peo's. Rather, I was singling out "Self-Insured" plan re-sellers. Group Trusts, SIF's, etc. There is no substitute for an admitted, regulated, stock/mutual workers' compensation insurance plan. The California statistics support the...
