Re: Cyber News and Insurance Journal Data Breach

Why delete the original post then Josh?
Why not come out and say there was a security issue, no data was breached, and we fixed it.
Data that was behind a login was exposed publicly right?
pssst thats a data breach

Cyber News and Insurance Journal Data Breach

So today IJ has this on seven cyber insurers bypassing ISO-Verisk and LexisNexus to form their own bureau. https://www.insurancejournal.com/news/national/2021/06/21/619446.htm Also know that IJ had it's own data breach issue with not closing a security issue in Wordpress such that data that should h...

Re: Geico or Elephant

Georgia POUNDED Progressive for this in the late 90's. Since then, large companies operate an umbrella of companies, each with different rates/rules. This accomplishes the same thing, allowing them to cancel/rewrite at different rates. I don't know of any state that has stopped this practice. In rea...

Re: Vertafore (AMS360) Customer Service is just awful.

I was advised by a former employee in support there, that they were advised to lie to agents when they called in for fixes/enhancements and specifically dates of resolution. All of these companies just make me shake my head.

Download From IVANS Errors, Agents Fault

I read this advert from IVANS and wondered if anyone really has this experience. Everything is flowers and sunshine... and if there is an error, he blames it on the agents. http://blog.appliedsystems.com/mythbusters-commercial-lines-download-edition/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm...

Beware Agents: Pokemon Go Security Breach

Go to the news, this is happening now. If you have downloaded Pokemon Go on a device like a phone or tablet, and use it for business, and you have customer info, name, address, documents, email address, emails, texts, etc, you are probably a victim of a security breach . The software company has all...

Re: Agency Management System

I just saw that a brand new AMS, Veruna.com, based on Salesforce, won an ACORD Innovation Challenge in NY this week, beating out TechCanary and Applied.

Might check them out when they go live.

Disclaimer...I am not affiliated with them in any way :D

Re: New ISO Form

This is yours and you know it. You are being sneaky and disingenuous. "This is interesting work"? You posted about an insurance patent and didn't think someone in insurance would look it up? It is public and you brought it up, and is valid for discussion, and can be reprinted freely. You d...

Re: New ISO Form

A Patent is public. The USPTO has already put this in the public domain and the application is public as well. This is why companies commonly don't patent inventions.
