Does anyone buy backlinks to increase your insurance website's SEO? If so, where is a good place to start? I dont want to buy 1000 crappy links. I want to but like 1-5 really good ones (page rank 5 or better)...

Has anyone found a good place to buy aged insurance leads. I heard some people have had great success in buying aged life insurance leads for like 1000 for only $150? I would also like to look into aged auto/home internet leads.

I have been going to a lot of neworking events lately and I dont think they are really helping. I will stick with it but I wish I could be seeing a little bit of results.

I agree with this article. I just started up my own independent agency in September 2010 and I am apart of an agency network that appointed me with all the independent carriers in the area. It is nice going through them because I dont have to worry about meeting a quota with every company.

We have had good success with just getting free information from info USA. If you go to your local library, they will give you the code to go to info USA and access all the business information in your area. Then you can cold call them and get their x-date.

I agree with JustinReed. I think online marketing works great with personal lines. If you are going to resource out and hire a marketing company I would do it locally or hire a marketing intern. You are going to get good results if you produce a good website, google local rating, and do a little SEO.

Does anyone know how much it is to setup Hawksoft? Or a range of how much it would cost to have a tech setup your client managment system with a server?

So has anyone had success with just going to your local bank with your business plan and getting a loan?
