Most homeowner's policies have sub-limits for property such as fine arts, jewelry, collectibles, etc. Scheduling enables the insured to receive the full value of the item(s) in the event of a loss and makes the coverage all-risk.

I deal with this situation a lot, since I am in San Diego and pretty much everything here is considered "brush". Chubb is pretty good about brush clearance, only requiring 150'. However, it is hard to compete with Farmers and State Farm. We have people in San Diego still waiting for Farmer...

I started a Facebook page a few months ago for our agency. My boss noted that when a person goes to the page, on the right hand side are a bunch of ads for other insurance agencies. So, this would seem to defeat the purpose unless one is willing to pay for ads.
