Our agency recently lost our only agent that had a Life/AH license. A group policy we write needs an agent with a life license to sign the applications, etc. Can I ask an agent with a life license to service this policy for our agency if he/she isn't an employee of our agency? Two salesmen walked into our agency on Friday attempting to sell us injury insurance. I asked for brochures and sadly they said they could not afford them. I asked them if they were kidding. They weren't. Any feed back on this company would be appreciated.

Seems Progressive is offering homeowner's quotes directly to our customers now. One of my customers e-mailed me his direct auto quote and at the bottom of the quote Progressive gives you an option to get home, condo or renters quotes. http://www.homesite.com

Please give advice on how to charge application fees. Our agency has hestitated on charging them because we aren't sure how the general consumer is going to react. I am talking about personal lines at this point.
