I just received a phone call from a carpenter we insure. He is a sub. The contractor wants all the subs to get wc insurance. My customer has no employees. Is there something out there for just him?

Policy #5906D845073 (not real number). Trying to find which company may have this kind of policy number. It's not GEICO. My insured was hit in a parking lot and the other party is not cooperating. I want to report it to his company. Thanks for any help.

Thanks Big Dog and Kevin. The employees are domiciled in the state where we started the policy but New York has new WC laws starting 9/19/07. I have an account who travels through 6 states delivering goods. The company they are with now can't add on 3 of the states to the current WC policy. Do they have to purchase individual policies for each state?

My client gets approached by another agent. Agent will buy thousands of dollars of client's product only if client moves their insurance to this agent. Client moves account to other agent, agent buys products. I know this happens all the time. Do you all just forget about it?
