Re: Insurance to Value on Homes

Since 2004, the company has increased Coverage A (for the insured's peace of mind) from $325,000 to $515,000. After the phone ITV was done with the insured, the company sent us a letter saying, "The survey indicates that the Coverage (A) limit listed on the policy appears more than adequate. Wh...

Re: Anyone else sick of this Michael Jans clown?

Okay, so we are a small PC agency that has been affected negatively by this economy. In fact, I'm not taking a pay check every so often just to keep the cash reserves intact. I'm not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Is Michael Jans someone to contact? Or maybe just selling the agency may b...

Zurich Small Business

Does anyone here deal with Zurich Small Business? We have a small book with them. Right now, there is no underwriter to contact, no marketing rep, and I called the 800 number in Jacksonville with a question for one of my customers. The message says you will be contacted within a half hour. 3 hours l...

Recognize Company?

Policy #5906D845073 (not real number). Trying to find which company may have this kind of policy number. It's not GEICO. My insured was hit in a parking lot and the other party is not cooperating. I want to report it to his company. Thanks for any help.

Thanks Big Dog and Kevin. The employees are domiciled in the state where we started the policy but New York has new WC laws starting 9/19/07. The carrier can't put New York on section 3A of the policy so we are out of luck. Kevin, we went through NCCI for this policy. Can you give me some names of N...

WC in numerous states

I have an account who travels through 6 states delivering goods. The company they are with now can't add on 3 of the states to the current WC policy. Do they have to purchase individual policies for each state?

Following in Scott's Footsteps-Ethics ?

My client gets approached by another agent. Agent will buy thousands of dollars of client's product only if client moves their insurance to this agent. Client moves account to other agent, agent buys products. I know this happens all the time. Do you all just forget about it?
