Sales of around $180,000. Generally the walk ins are local customers that can pick up. He recently obtained all the necess...

Re: Workers Comp Deposit

Thanks for the replies.

Yes we are looking for options as financing the DEPOSIT on the WC policy.

The carrier wants a 15% Deposit and in California, carriers also are collecting the estimated State Surcharges +4.7% upfront with the deposit. This puts the total cost to start a policy at almost 20%.

Workers Comp Deposit

Is anybody aware of any finance compaies that will finance the WC deposit? Please don't lecture me on this. I know that coverage is paid for in the rears but the insured is having a cash flow issue regarding the deposit and I was asked to see if any financing mechanisms are out there.

CSP is partially correct, the WCIRB, has an online manual, however there is other products out there that are more detailed put out by Silver Plume and ISO.

Re: WC for 5951 and 4512

First I would suggest that you call your State Fund Underwriter and discuss the risk with them. If they can not justify the classification then have them(State Fund) request a WCIRB inspection. The other alternative is to call the WCIRB and ask for the Customer Service Department, they can usually h...

Re: SIC Code- 5057

The ISO Classification guide confirms that 5057-Iron or Steel Erection is the correct Workers Compensation Classification class for Vault Installations. The Correct Standard Industry Classification(SIC) is either 1799-Specialty Trade Contractor or 1791-Structural Stell Erection.

Re: House that is titled in the person's LLC

If the house is titled solely in the LLC why would you not change the first named insured to the LLC? Since the LLC(if they own 100%) has the only insurable interest in the house, in my opinion they should be the first named insured. Since the LLC probably does not own the contents, see if the undew...
