Re: Help with hiring a CSR

Thanks for all of your help so far. It's a part time position.

Do you think the sales skills for candidate #2 are important?

Re: Help with hiring a CSR

One downside to CSR # 1 that I didn't mention is that this person would be also working at another independent agency part-time also.

Is this okay you think?

Thank you for all of your help so far - I really appreciate.

Help with hiring a CSR

I've narrowed it down to two CSR's for a position in the agency and wondering who you would choose from your experience. Has anyone else gotten appointed with them recently? How is doing business with them compared to the other preferred carriers?

Tower Insurance Appointments

Has anyone gotten appointed with Tower recently?

It seems like they have really competitive rates for home insurance.

Re: E&O Coverage

Does anyone else have suggestions? I got a quote from Paco and then also Fireman's fund. Fireman's fund sounds like the best option so far, but I appreciate any other recommendations.

Thanks in advance.

House that is titled in the person's LLC

I have a client that I just found out his home is titled in his LLC (for tax purposes). So, do i add the LLC as an additional interest?

What do you recommend?

Re: I may terminate my agreement w/ NIA!

Can you take your book of biz with you?

Do you have to pay an exit fee penalty? Those are some questions you should ask before you leave.

MetLife

I saw in the latest insurance journal that Metlife might be expanding into other states with independent agents.

Has anyone been recently appointed by them? If so, how competitive are their rates and coverages?
