Re: Farmers Insurance
I have heard some grumbling about the new agent contract being more restrictive then before. Not sure the details. With the PIF shrink, it seems to be counter productive to their goal to chase existing clients out the door. After the 2010 deal, what next? Drop rates back down so the scraps of what i...

Re: Farmers Insurance
You Farmers guys have some of the best Commercial Products availible. Time you demanded from State Office/DM, whom ever, to get the training now. Its their fastest (only) growing segment in the organization. They can let go the Personal Lines Growth Consultant as that is just not going to happen. Br...

Re: Farmers Insurance
I think what frustrates me more then anything is the fact that one household can have multiple FARA scores. When they rolled out Household Comp Credit, the word credit used to mean a reduction. Now, in Farmers Logic, it means an increase accross the board - Be Damned Webster. Then the inevitible flo...

Re: Farmers Insurance
Let me clarify, FArmers was $3500 higher collectivly then the quotes the clients showed me. The State Office Gimick plan does not work any more. FARMERSGURL, your DM must be great. Ride him for all he is worth as I am sure you will gain knowledge that will help you when Congress realizes that FArmer...

Re: Farmers Insurance
I just got back from doing three FArmers Fiendly Rescrews for 18+ yr clients.
A collective $3500 in savings just on three households. Got no more smoke and mirrors left. Hope they promote the stoges in the state office like they did Mr Hopkins.

Re: Current Replacement Costs
Best way to avoid an E & O issue (RC vs REP) is to show them coverage both ways. Let them pick their coverage. Have them sign a waiver that they are declining Replacement Cost.
This way, they get options, you CYA.

Re: Looking at Farmer's
Farmers just announced another rate hike in my state -25% Fire bump. Farmers, according to my state director, has the highest operating expense of all companies. This is due to the poor Computer System and hack programers. It took almost 1 hour to quote 3 cars. I was not competitive. I dished it to ...

Re: Looking at Farmer's
If its a decision between Farmers and Allstate, look at the contract. FArmers allows you to Broker Business and has a Family Rights passage. The Tech issues with Farmers may end up being resolved as they have brought in Bristol West People to fix what Mr Hopkins let become a total night mare. His ha...
