I have two main gripes with Progressive. Low commission rate (10% on commercial vs upto 17.5% with other commercial carriers), and it's difficult to qualify for any profit sharing. Interview and Hire a professional firm that specializes in Insuracne agency acquisitions. Contact NJ IIA or PIA for referrals. Do not do this alone. The person that represents themself, has a fool for a client.

1) Look for another auto carrier that will do it. ( Good luck) 2) Look at personal umbrella policies and see if they drop down for non-owned and rented motorcycles. 3) Avoidance-Tell your client not to do it. This is an interesting question. sankykid is right on. If available why would you not offer guarenteed replacement cost with no cap. To my knowledge there are still some damaged homes from Katrina that are still waiting to be re built.

I think the answer is not insurance, but DAMAGE DEPOSIT, and proper screening of tenants by a real estate professional with proper E&O coverage.
