However, getting a specific toll free phone number is not hard or cost prohibitive for any agent wanting one. 1-800-Auto-Insurance would be just as effective, but I doubt it's available. I agree with d's insurance store's comments. Also, Allstate is cutting commissions in favor of contingent commissions based on production. Allstate dictates the hours of operation for your office, and punishes you for closing early on some holidays. I'd pass on Allstate.

Congratulations! I think the CPCU program is a good program. I got halfway through the program earlier in my career. For me. completing the program was not worth the time & cost, but the courses I completed gave me a good basis for understanding the P&C insurance industry.
