HI does anyone know where I can BOR a work comp policy for Illinois Midwest for a CA policy? The class code is 3099 tool mfg NOC and everyone is coming back higher ICW, Amtrust, etc. I called the REP they said they only work with agencies direct but I have heard that before and found it not to be true.

My understanding is that Illinois Midwest will only work with contracted retail agencies. I used to have a few policies with them through a GA, but their contract was terminated about 2 years ago. I spoke with the rep and they told me they were eliminating all of their wholesale appointments. I didn't have enough volume to support a direct appointment, so I had to move the business.
