I have a large plumbing contractor whose business is 100% new residential plumbing. Thye have annual sales of approximately $6,000,000 and do some 700 homes per year. They are a well run company but have had a couple of mold related claims--last two yers are loss free--adjusted loss ratio--ie excluding mold related claims over past five years is 25% --but --They also have more than 50% of the work done by uninsured contractors--who are essentially overseen by management of the company--have been unable to find andy market other than American Empire--who increased premium from 67.000 last year to $170,000--with a twenty five thousand deductible--have addressed the uninsured subs and have sought proposals based on use of insured subs--have been told that the issue is not unsured subs but predicted loss dollars based on past experience--I am looking for advice and informationre markets--Ernest Hauser
