State Farm Personal Articles Policy

Hello! If a client just has her auto and personal articles policies with State Farm, and moves her auto, can she keep her pap with State Farm? She has a $5K mountain bike and I'm having trouble finding a standard carrier that will insure it. Her current homeowner's policy is in my agency and they won't cover it. Thank you!

Not a SF agent - sorry can't help answering it. I'm curious, however, which homeowner carrier you used for the client? They have a sublimit on bicycles?

It was State Auto...no sublimit on bikes.

there should be some coverage for the bike then, unless they have a high deductible. You can always get a standalone policy though. Some may not be too fond of writing bikes, and may require the insured to have some jewelry coverage.
