I am currently enrolled in a correspondence course to obtain a P/C license. The Michigan Insurance License Candidate Examination Handbook has been very helpful in getting me on my way. It led me through the pre-licensing process and I will have all the prerequisites when I finish the course. All except one. I need a sponsor to be able to even take the final test at the State testing center. Can anyone tell me how to get a sponsor? The handbook passes over the topic so fast, I had to reread. No help there. Is it just a matter of knowing someone in the business?
