Doies your developer own a real estate agency that sells the homes that he builds?

If so talk with the Herbert Landy Agency outside of Boston. They have a General Star program that is excellent.

Colony also writes this type of situation but their policy is not as broad.

They are all CM form but Landy offers a separate limit for defense.

It should be noted that neither Landy nor Colony will actually cover Developers Real Estate Development activities; in this instance, the policy will only cover services as a Real Estate Broker

That is specifically why I asked if the developer owned a real estate agency. The real estate activity was the subject of the inquiry.

The separate real estate agency however, will qualify for both the Landy & Colony programs.

His Developer activities incl E&O would be covered elsewhere.
