GENERAL LIABILITY DISCOUNT FOR LIGHTNING DETECTION SYSTEM?

I'm looking for a carrier (all states) that provides a discount to golf courses etc... for having a lightning detection system.
Can anyone help?

Just what is a lightning detection system and how does it operate. I have never heard of such a thing. Detecting lightning prior to a strike sounds extremely interesting. Thank you. Dar Novak

GOLF COURSES, LANDSCAPE COMPANIES, STADIUMS, ETC...USE IT FOR SAFETY. A FACILITY WOULD BE ALERTED ABOUT EVERY INIDVIDUAL STRIKE THAT HAS CAME DOWN IN A 30-60-OR 100 MILE RADIUS. I HAVE HEARD OF ONE INSURANCE COMPANY THAT GIVES A DISCOUNT ON THE GENERAL LIABILITY FOR THOSE THAT HAVE A REAL TIME LIGHTNING SYSTEM.

Yes, The Lightning and Weather is very inexpensive and runs about $1700 (402-255-8133 for more information) per year. The discount that the insurance company is offering for those who have a lightning prediction is $1500. So the Golf course or facility is more or less getting a free Weather Prediction system. Great deal for them and good sell for agents. But, I'm only aware of one company providing such a discount.
