Do you have any good markets for EQ coverage for apartment buildings in CA?

Please let me know and I appreciate your help.

Thanks

I do have markets for EQ. Whether or not your risk qualifies will depend on location, age and construction of the building. If you send me an email, I will supply you with a one page EQ supplemental.

Lloyds may be your only options. International Placement Services, Inc. (ISPI) has a good EQ program through Lloyds, but per another poster, the construction/age/etc. will make the biggest impact on rates. They consistently get me better rates on apartment complexes than any other wholesaler...they seem to have a direct pipeline to Lloyds.

Not sure who your rep will be.

Have you tried American E & S? They are in San Francisco, (415) 398-7475. Ask for Dave Pinto and he will get you to an underwriter. They have a good list of carriers, too. Good Luck!

I agree with one of the posts. Location is really a big factor. Those who live in earthquake prone areas would be more interested in an insurance product that can provide them coverage from the effects of earthquake. You might want to consider going out of US and selling to those countries in the Pacific Ring of Fire.
