I have a client that is starting a video game publishing company that will be releasing ports of retro video games for Playstation Network, X-Box Live, etc. Games will be rated E to Teen.
Nothing along the lines of violent first person shooters, but we have been declined by Great American and CFC (Lloyd's) through CCBSure due to violence (some 2d fighters and side scrolling shooters) and are in search of other options.
Projected receipts are $500K. The insured is just looking for GL at this point but will be looking at E&O in the near future. They have a new contract that will require the GL but not E&O. This is a new venture, and the President of the company was the CEO of a larger game publisher.
