Auto driven on a racetrack - NY PAP excludes
Anyone know of any carriers that will provide primary Liability and Physical Damage in NY for a personal auto being taken to a racetrack (Watkins Glen) for a driving school? All of our PAP carriers exclude any coverage at all if the vehicle is taken onto any track for any reason (even for a professional driving school...) I tried sources listed in the Insurance Marketplace and no responses yet. Thank you.

Try Lockton Affinity's HPDE program. I believe they released an ala carte product a year or so ago for track day and driving school events (though I think it's only PD and not liability... don't quote me on that). You might also try contacting your local SCCA or Porsche Club of America (I've worked a PCA event or two at the Glen in past years).
