OK Boy's and Girls..........
A local business man and homeowner wants to rent a Harley with friends on occasion. He does not own a motorcycle but does have the CA_DMV endorsement. The Harley coverage for LIABILITY is "supplemental", not primary. Allied (current PL policy carrier) will not cover him for primary.
Are there any California carriers or programs that allow for primary AUTO LIABILITY for the occasional rental of a motorcycle on an "as needed" basis?

Re: Motorcycle Rental Coverage
1) Look for another auto carrier that will do it. ( Good luck)
2) Look at personal umbrella policies and see if they drop down for non-owned and rented motorcycles.
3) Avoidance-Tell your client not to do it.
This is an interesting question. I look forward to other theoretical and practical answers.

Re: Motorcycle Rental Coverage
Your friend needs to find another Motorcycle rental operator. Coverage is out there.
