Our agency has been on the Nexsure system for 18 months. Our agency is considered to be a large agency. In this time frame of 18 months it has been a challenge at times however I can tell you that it is the right system for many reasons. It is on the cutting edge unlike any other system out there today. It is an e-platform that is on Microsoft dot technology which can present its own set of issues at times but is the future for the insurance business. However our due diligent process that we went thru prior to purchase was as extensive as I have ever seen and I have been thru 2 agency conversions previously. We worked the system over and over and compared the ups and downs, weaknesses and strengths, pros and cons with all of the other leading systems. Nexsure won hands down. Two of the top ten agencies will be on this system very shortly. The system has been endorsed by the CIAB (Council of Ins Agents & Brokers).
You can access your data from any computer anywhere in the world. Your data is held off site in several locations simultaneously so part of your agency disaster program is taken care of. Changes in the system or in your data base can happen overnight something that no other system that I have seen can do. The cost is not the cheapest but is very affordable. The folks at XDTI (Nexsure's owners) are very good and know agency management systems very well so there are always on the prowl to improve the system at every twist and turn. Some of the new system enhancements that will be available in the next several months will no doubt change the way one thinks about how to use an agency's management system based upon what we all do today. The future will be her before we all know it and one thing is for sure, change is here to stay and will evolve quicker than ever before and so will demands by consumers upon their insurance providers, especially the producers and agencies that are out there. If you get behind, you will not survive. Technology is here to stay, it will change the way we will do business in the future, so each of us better make sure we hook up with vendors that can change and offer leading edge products and processes.
