Needing a homeowner's market in Texas for PPC 10

Post by Mojo84 »

We live and work in an area where many of the homes are $350,000-$3,500,000 replacement cost and many of them are in protection class 9 and 10. Our markets, Hartford, Safeco, AIG, Fireman's Fund, Chubb, MetLife, State Auto and Travelers do not write in these protection classes or are prohibitively restrictive with their underwriting guidelines.

Any recommendations on markets that will write in these protection classes would be greatly appreciated.

Without a doubt this is a tough market in Texas right now. Exactly where are you located in Texas? It sounds like possibly the outskirts of Austin or San Antonio. This detail may determine if there is a solution.

I have an online platform that will accept homes with values of $500,000 - $45+ million and I can include liability on the form also. If you have a live example, please send me the Acords, loss info and your premium target. I can turn these within a short time frame. A XV paper. Best of luck to you-

Hi, am a I/A in Austin, have gone through this recently as well. I was successful in writing PPC 9 in Kileen, 1M value home
as primary and vacation homes with Chubb.

Chubb is great for the higher value stuff assuming there's monitored fire and burglar.
