I am having trouble placing a local trucking O/O that is 70 years old. He has the long form Medical on file active. His MVR is clean. His Safer Score is decent. Truck in good condition. 20 years trucking. Can you point me in the right direction? He has been having trouble getting coverage because of his age as most companies accept drivers up to 65 and maybe 2 yrs more for Renewals. Has been non-renewed since June from this year because of his age. Thank you in advance.

Depending on the state your looking for coverage in I would suggest Progressive for the coverage. I have a 72 year old with them for the past 2 years.

Thank you omegacsr. Problem is that Progressive does not do 48 states in California and they are currently restricted to PIF.
