Good Agency Management System

Post by curve_1 »

Hi! Wanted to ask if anybody can recommend Good Agency Management System. Not too expensive, with all needed functions, with accord form, invoicing, renewals, cancellations etc. My agency is not big, no Life & Health lines. Have been in business 3 years. Thank You

We use AMS Prime 2000, it was cheap back in the day when it was AgencyOne ($2,500ish in 1997), don't know how much it costs now to buy in. 4 users w/download is under $300/mo., if I am not mistaken.

Have you tried Quickfile? It's been a great system and is all online, so you don't have to worry about backups.

I use the Applied Systems TAM (The Agency Manager) I don't know what the current price is but I compared it with Haswksoft. http://www.hawksoftinc.com Their monthly cost was lower than my current with TAM but their subscription cost + the monthly cost was greater, annually, than my current annual cost with TAM http://www.appliedsystems.com/

We use InStar, who was purchased by AMS, and it has all the features you are looking for and more. As for pricing, they are very competitively priced compared to Applied. I was on Applied for 25 years before switching and it was the best decision I ever made. :D Your staff will also like InStar, it is designed from a "service" perspective. http://www.instarcorp.com

HawkSoft is one of the better systems when it comes to features and functionality for the cost. I'm not sure where the TAM user got their pricing but when I compared TAM to HawkSoft there was no comparison. Applied must have been offering some "Special" pricing. HawkSoft for us was far less expensive. With HawkSoft you have the option of going Online or hosting the program on your own server. We chose HawkSoft not only due to cost but the features, functionality, and service can’t be beat. You might want to take a look at them. http://www.hawksoftinc.com I do however recommend that you take the time to compare a few different systems to find the one that best suits the neesa of your agency.

Does anyone have experience with Newton by Agency Systems? It looks like a great system, though it is fairly new.
