Named Insureds on Commerical Property

Subject has come up about insuring multiple named insureds on CP polices. This carrier rhymes with Scarblers, wants to separately list every property with the exact ownership tied to each property. After 30 years of using first named insured as primary payee, the 800 pound gorilla wants only ripe bananas. (mixed metaphor). Any thoughts?
