Sexual Harassment
Is a sexual harassment suit covered and a typical business owner policy?

Re: Sexual Harassment
Typically, it is not covered. I belive you might find the exclusion under Coverage Part B ,"Knowing Violation of Rights of Another". Also, most of our carriers will attach a specific exclusion for Sexual Abuse and Molestation. I think that an EPLI policy would give you coverage for at least the defense of a Harassment suit, but I am not a Financial Services expert, so would certianly defer to a more knowledgable source.

Nope. Excluded via intentional acts and via a specific endorsement. D&O with EPLI is the way to go.

Sexual harassment coverage is provided under the EPL policy (both defense & indemnity). If you would like help in placing this type of coverage please give me a call or send an email. I am a Financial Services wholesale broker and specialize in D&O, EPL, E&O and Environmental coverage. We write in all 50 states.
