GL classification description / Landscaping

Post by yoyowordup »

Looking for someone that might have insight or access to SCOPES with detailed description for landscaping classification. Wondering if the sprinklers and or drip system payroll is part of the landscape class or if it needs to be rated separately as plumbing. Plumbing rate is much higher because of exposure to plumbing within structures. That doesn't seem logical with respect to landscape operations.

Per Scopes, you need to use 5183 Plumbing. Code 5188 for Automatic Sprinkler Installation states “Lawn sprinkler installation to be separately rated as Code 5183”

I just noticed you are asking for GL classification. Scopes is for Work Comp, but the corresponding GL code should apply.
