GAs for Preferred Truckers Programs

Anyone know of a GA that allows access to preferred truckers programs?

Names i hear are Carolina casualty, Northland, etc

It really depends on WHERE you live - not ALL GAs write in ALL States.

I'd like to know as well. I'm in Texas. I need the "works" - GL, CA & Cargo - I have it brokered right nnow but wouldn't prefer to place with a standard carrier if at all possible.

I'm in southern california.. and i'm talking about the Liability.. the physical damage.. the cargo.. and possibly the GL

Rough Notes puts out an annual publication titled The Insurance Marketplace which is a GREAT source for markets. Not being in CA myself, you might try joining one of your State insurance associations such as the Latin American Agents Alliance or the Alliance of Insurance Agents and Brokers.

Try out Insurance Journal's market search site MyNewMarkets.com to find all of your hard to place markets. It is a search engine specifically for the insurance industry. I received an e-mail the other day from Progressive. They have stepped up the market for commercial trucking, including some cargo coverage. I don't know the particulars, but it might be worth looking into. I think they also expanded their allowable radius, too. I think they're getting pretty competitive, and they are a preferred market...
