I took the CPCU 510 last September 09; the answers are short essays - some only a couple of sentences long. The test was skewed to Insurance Industry terms and scenarios.
Study the Course Guide review and application questions as well as the Key Words & Phrases. I bought a digital recorder and record the questions/answers, key words and listen over and over. Then test yourself on the CD or online SmartOnline test tool.
I am taking the 530 exam next month; I hope that the same study strategy works for multiple choice.
