Starting Over / Regaining an ins. license...

Hello,

The state of FL (dept. of fncl serv's) has placed my license on suspension for 15 years due to a criminal conviction I had when I lived in NY. I am now in my last few months of this criminal probation and when its over I would like to attempt it again. Do you think this is a good idea?

what are my chances of becoming an independent agent or ever regaining my credentials back along with the respect of an agent status?

Good luck to you. Fifteen years is a long time, but you obviously have the will, so I would say go for it... and take your beatings and the hoops the State makes you jump through with a smile.
