I have a buddy of mine who is about to open is own Full-service boutique and brokerage investment firm. He was also thinking of providing Insurance service as well. Is this somthing that can be done?
what regulator would he have to contact for offering insurance NAIC? Is there a way to bring an insurance company under the broker dealer umbrella and other products and services ?
Is there a potential market offering insurance services from the b/d, i would like to hear your thoughts on that too.?
