Newbie

Post by NewCTAgent »

Hi Everyone,

I am a sales associate in CT currently working for a Captive Agent. I am 23 and looking to start up my own independent agency within the next 6 months. I am looking for advice on getting appointments (who works with new comers)as well as information on funding, best practices etc. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch!

Hi Newbie

Starting your agency is tough, not an impossible task but tough. Especially if you don't have experience. You will not get any direct appoitments and in most of the cases you are not going to be competitive. If i were you, i would hire a consultant who has already ran an agency and ask him all the questions
