EXPERIENCED COMMERCIAL INSURANCE CSR/ACCOUNT MANAGER

Description:

Preferred Coverage Insurance (PCIA) is seeking energetic and hungry individuals that work well in a team environment. As a CSR/Account Manager, you will work with a team that shares your desire to win. Job Responsibilities:

  • Strong listening, oral and written communications/interpersonal skills
  • Selling insurance policies to businesses and individuals in an inside sales environment
  • Ensure excellent service by explaining features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance plans
  • Contact underwriter and submit forms to bind coverage
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as completing paperwork, filing, maintaining records and handling policy renewals daily
  • Goal oriented: highly motivated insurance sales representative that is resourceful to achieve results with a sense of urgency
  • Problem solving ability: apply and balance conceptual and analytical thinking by breaking down complex problems, evaluating alternative sources of action and their likely outcomes, and selecting the best alternative
  • Pay close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Create and maintain business relationships with prospects and policyholders
  • Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior
  • Perform effectively in environments with frequent workload changes and competing demands
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Overcome objections and close the sale

Education/Experience Background

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current General Lines P&C License
  • Must have retail agency experience
  • Must have at least 2 years' commercial lines experience
  • Future growth includes management opportunity

Other Skill Requirements:

  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Basic Computer knowledge and possess strong written, verbal and people skills.
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced written communication skills (spelling, grammar and
    punctuation) and verbal communications skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to quickly learn any Company/Proprietary software is necessary.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required
